Thomas Raleigh

Thomas T. “T.R” Raleigh 85 of Sebree, KY passed away at his home on Saturday February 5th, 2022. He was a retired Laborer out of the Local Laborer’s Union #561 in Evansville, IN after 65 years of service. He was a member of the Sebree First Christian Church in Sebree, KY. Tom was a member of the Bailey-Onton Masonic Lodge #538 and an officer in the Austin Collins American Legion Post #243 in Sebree, KY. In his earlier years of Life Tom enjoyed talking on his CB Radio, he loved watching his grandchildren participate in sports, and enjoyed listening to the old country music. He also loved spending time with his family and had a great love for his dogs. Tom was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. He was the son of the late Raymond and Pauline Drake Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his wife Hiwana and his brother Cletis Raleigh. Survivors include his 2 daughters Cheryl Forker(Robert) and Deb Stull(Tim) both of Sebree, KY; 5 grandchildren Kale Forker, Ashley Phillips, Kevin Forker, Bryan Townsend and Kassie Townsend; 12 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Bill Anderson, Tim Stull and Bro. Robert Forker will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday and from 8am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St Henderson, KY 42420. Military Rites will be performed graveside by the Hopkins County Honor Guard.
