Patsy Hite

Patsy Zettler Hite, Morganfield businesswoman and beloved wife and mother, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at her home in Morganfield, Kentucky. She was 79.

Patsy was born April 22, 1941, in Athens, Ala., and grew up in Dixon after her parents moved to Kentucky when she was young. She graduated from Dixon High School and called Dixon and Morganfield home for most of her life.

Pat and her husband Ronnie built a successful business in Morganfield after founding Sam’s Una Pizza – named for their only son – which she ran for decades. Her sister Linda joined her in the pizza business with the Sam’s Pizza in Providence, Kentucky, and they both decorated their shops with all things Kentucky Wildcats.

Patsy is survived by her brother Jackie Zettler of Dixon; one granddaughter, Shelby Hite of Morganfield; and one grandson, Samuel Hite of Morganfield.

She was preceded in death by husband Ronnie Hite of Morganfield and son Samuel Hite of Morganfield; mother Ruby Zettler Swann of Dixon; father Polk Adam Zettler of Dixon; brother Thomas Allen Zettler of Fulton, Mississippi, and sister Linda Zettler Clark of Dixon.

Arrangements will be handled by Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Patsy will be entombed at Fairmont Mausoleum in Henderson, KY. Online condolences can be made at www.townsendfuneralhomeinc.com
