Edna Rigdon

Edna C. Rigdon 83, of Crittenden County, KY passed away on Thursday July 21, 2022 at Baptist Health-Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. She was of the Baptist Faith and had attended Sassafras Grove Church in Sebree, KY. She retired from Carhartt after 19 years of service. She loved camping, reading, traveling and especially loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Ray Rigdon, a daughter Edna Diane Rigdon and a son James Albert Rigdon. Survivors include her 5 daughters Loretta Gail Denton(Rick) of Sebree, KY; Sylvia Kay Robinson of Henderson, KY; Mary Lynn Fehrenbacher(James) of Henderson, KY; Rolanda Faye Holmes(Pee-Wee) of Dixon, KY and Cathy Jane Martin of Marion, KY; 3 sons Terry Wayne Rigdon(Mary Ann) of Sebree, KY; Ernest Ray Rigdon II(Michelle) Ridgway, IL and Gregory Allen Rigdon(Misty) of Sebree, KY; 1 sister Georgia Francis of Henderson, KY; 26 Grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Mike Rigdon will officiate. Burial will be in Highlands Cemetery in Waverly, KY.
