Dorothy Blades

Dorothy E. Blades 92, of Dixon, KY passed away at her home on Monday September 6, 2021. She retired from Atlantis Plastics in Henderson, KY. She was a KY Colonel, she loved to care for her animals, loved her grandkids and her family. She was preceded in death by a son Carl Johnson “C.J.” Blades. Survivors include her daughter Rita Austin(Waylon) of Dixon, KY; 1 stepson Robert Blades(Marisel) of Paducah, KY; 1 brother Paul Edward Hollingsworth of Evansville, IN; 9 grandchildren Brian Brown(Samantha), Ashley Garrett(Heath), Chesley Austin, Drake Austin(Catie), Jennifer Blades, Hannah Crowley(Seth), Isaac Blades and Natalie Blades and Vanessa Blades; 4 great grandchildren Conner Brown, Hudson Garrett, Oaklyn Crowley and Chrissie Blades; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will held at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY on Saturday September 25, 2021 at 1PM. Bro. Mark Carter will officiate.
