Daniel Kurtz

Daniel Leroy Kurtz 54, of Henderson, KY passed away on Thursday August 6, 2020 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. He loved spending time with his family and also loved to fish and hunt. He was the son of the late Frederick and Judith Ann Kurtz. He was preceded in death by a brother Christopher Wayne Kurtz. Survivors include his wife of 37 years Rebecca Kurtz of Henderson, KY; 2 daughters Chasity Rhoades(Zach) and Danielle Kurtz both of Henderson, KY; 1 sister Brandy Barnettfox of Herrin, IL; 2 brothers Gene Kurtz and Scott Kurtz both of Henderson, KY; 7 grandchildren Alexis Vanvactor, Madison Kurtz, Adrienne Kurtz, Marianna Huerta’Pavon, Hayden Kurtz, Kamron Kurtz and Ke’shaun Kurtz and several nieces and nephews. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY is handling the arrangements. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
