William "Bud" Duncan

William “Bud” Duncan 83, of Poole, KY passed away at his home on Saturday August 12, 2017. He retired from Whirlpool after 44 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Martha Ashby Duncan in 2017, one sister Wilma Jean Edwards and his parents Ernest and Ilyne Duncan. Survivors include his 3 daughters Rhonda Russell(Larry), Brenda Allinder(Larry) and Gina Alvey(Michael) all of Poole, KY; 3 sons Bill Duncan(Kathy) of Cairo, KY; Ernie Duncan(Kim) of Henderson, KY and Robbie Duncan(Trina) of Poole, KY; 18 grandchildren Rachel, Amy, Missy, Jennifer, Angie, Sarah, Alyson, Amanda, Sabrina, Brooke, Tad, Will, Jon, Jake, Stephen, Brendan, Chad and Robert, where grandsons will serve as pallbearers; 31 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 14, 2017 at Noon at Holy Name Catholic Church in Henderson, KY. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Sunday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. In Lieu of flowers donations can  be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, Ky. 42420.
