Wanda Lee Goad

Wanda Lee Goad 86, of Dixon, KY passed away at home on Monday October 14th, 2024. She was a Bank Teller for Dixon Bank for 37 years. Wanda was a member of the Dixon General Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She loved making crafts, quilting and spending time with her family. Wanda was a member of the Miniville Minature Club in Owensboro, KY and was an avid UK Basketball fan. She is the daughter of the late Burnice and Evelyn Allen Cates. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Goad and a son Eric Goad. Survivors include her daughter Anita(Tim) Catlin of Sebree, KY; 2 sons Bruce and Jeff Goad both of Dixon, KY; 2 sisters Anna Ethel Conrad of North Carolina and Judy Parrish of Hanson, KY; 2 grandchildren James(Amber) Catlin and Jayleigh(Nathan) Catlin; 4 great grandchildren Maddox, Quintin, Zandralee and Royree; her caregivers Lisa, Gwen and Cassie. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 17th, 2024 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. John Brumfiel will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
