Virginia L. Winstead 82 of Dixon, KY passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN on Thursday January 4, 2018. She was a retired bank teller at Dixon Bank, having over 30 years of service. She was of the Christian faith and loved playing the piano and organ, she also loved crafts. Survivors include 1 daughter Sharon Ferguson(Sandy) of Henderson, KY; 1 son Frank “Tudy” Winstead(Kim) of Dixon, KY; her mother Lillian Frances Manier Lowe of Aberdeen, OH; 2 sisters Mary Katherine Maher of Maysville, KY and Armilda Shelton of Dayton, OH; 4 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Rick Oakley will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
