Virginia Anne Springfield Taylor 84, of Providence, KY passed away at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY on Monday January 18, 2015. She was retired from York Manufacturing after 18 years of service. She was a member of Star Hope General Baptist Church in Liberty, KY. She enjoyed reading her bible, she read through her bible 6 times and was awarded through the church, she also loved gardening and she loved her cat Pretty Girl. She was the daughter of the late George and Effie Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Taylor in 2015. Survivors include 2 daughters Phyllis Puckett and her husband Virgil of Nebo, KY and Gina Moser and her husband David of Manitou, KY; 2 sons Ron Taylor and his wife Kathy of Hanson, KY and Bill Taylor and his wife Cheryl of Providence, KY; 1 brother William Springfield of Wisconsin; 6 grandchildren Steven Puckett and wife Amy, Bryan Taylor, Stacy Boles and husband Bo, Niki Massey and husband Cleveland, Kristen Holmes and husband Eddie, and Jacob Moser; 8 great grand Taylor Puckett, Enola Massey, Layla Holmes, Avyn Puckett, Waylan Massey, Tripp Boles, Landon Holmes and Lance Holmes, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday January 24, 2016 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Danny Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Star Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Eddie Holmes, Cleveland Massey, Steven Puckett, Bryan Taylor, Jacob Moser and David Moser.
