Virginia Sellers

Virginia J. Sellers 87, of Poole, KY died on February 17, 2012 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. She was a housewife and member of Cairo United Methodist Church in Cairo, KY. She was a member of the Ermine Ford #9 Eastern Star and a charter member of the Poole Harvest Daze. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger M. Sellers in 1973, a sister Odell Puckett and a brother Claude Bradley. Survivors include her daughter Leona M. Hagan and husband William “Bill” of Henderson, KY, one son Samuel W. Sellers of Henderson, KY; one sister Helen Villines of Dixon, KY; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grand; nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday Feb. 20, 2012 at 10AM at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Sunday and from 8am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
