Virginia Lee Mundy

Virginia Lee Mundy 85, of Dixon, Ky passed away on Saturday June 29th, 2024 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN. She was an active member of Dixon General Baptist Church. She had worked as a cook for several years, also worked at the Webster County Health Department and was a member of the Dixon Homemakers Club. Virginia loved playing Bingo, working puzzle books and enjoyed shopping. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Virgil David and Winnie Marie Edwards Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Mundy, a grandson Troy Daniel Stone and a great-granddaughter Adley Grace Mundy. Survivors include her daughter Lana Simpson of Dixon, KY; her son Tim(Sara) Mundy of Dixon, KY; 2 sisters Carolyn Griffin of Central City, KY and Brenda Gregory of Greenville, KY; a brother Bobby Gregory of Elkton, KY; 6 grandchildren Heath Clark, Jonathon Stone, Mark Stone, Amber Mundy, Devin(Victoria) Stone and T.J.(Elizabeth) Mundy; 8 great-grandchildren Lindsey Clark, Wade Clark, Chloe Clark, Sylas Stone, Braxton Langston, Gabriella Stone, Arya Hollie and Lyli Powell; 2 great-great-grandchildren Greyson Williams and Madailynn Williams and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 2nd, 2024 at 11am at Lee Cemetery 197 Country Ln Dr Greenville, KY 42345. Rev. John Brumfiel will officiate.
