Vernon Chandler

Vernon Eugene Chandler 65, of Poole, KY died at his home on Saturday August 25, 2012. He had worked as a Parts Manager for Dempewolf Ford in Henderson, KY for over 44 years. He was a member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY. He is the son of the late Raymond Eugene and Mary Cleo Pruitt Chandler. He was preceded in death by a sister Judy Coomer. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Barbara Lear Chandler of Poole, KY; one daughter Nancy Crowley and her husband Gary of Dixon, KY; one son Michael Chandler and his wife Amber of Poole, KY; two brothers Donald Chandler of Sebree, KY and James Chandler of Poole, KY; 7 grandchildren Emily Crowley, Katie Crowley, Alex Chandler, Drew Chandler, Wayne Crowley, Addison and Chloe Chandler; several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home on Wednesday at 1pm. Rev. Dean Esarey will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday and after 8am on Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
