Terry Childers

Terry Childers 77, of Nebo, KY passed away on Monday January 24, 2022 in Nebo, KY. Terry loved gardening, cooking and spending time with his family. He had worked for the TVA as an Outage Director, his focus was on nuclear energy/waste. He was a US Army Veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was the son of the late James M. and Elsie Childers. Survivors include his wife Anita Childers of Providence, KY; 2 daughters Christine Lynn of Aberdeen, NC and Amy Dobbs(Gil) of Madison, AL; 1 brother Jimmy Childers(Kathy) of Dixon, KY and 3 grandchildren Ean, Asa and Sam Dobb’s. Private memorial services were held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Sunday January 30, 2022 at 2pm with Rev. Dennis Mayfield officiating.
