Stella Blankenship

Stella Frances Blankenship 92, of Lisman, KY passed away at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY on Wednesday March 8, 2017. She loved painting, line dancing and singing. She also loved playing the organ and piano. She was a member of the Lisman Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lisman, KY. She was the daughter of the late Denver and Eurna Pemberton. She was preceded in death by her stepmother Minnie Below Pemberton. Survivors include her husband of 71 years Billy Lane Blankenship of Lisman, KY; 2 daughters Eva Jane(Butch) Edwards of Lisman, KY and Vicki(Ken) Rubenacker of Sikeston, Missouri; 5 grandchildren Andrea Wunderlich, Rob Edwards, Alauna Friskics, Paul Edwards and Brennan McMillen; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday March 11, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Paul Stone, Rev. John Shoulta and Min. Gary Puryear will officiate. Burial will be in Lisman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Friday and from 8am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
