Shirley A. Wagoner

Shirley A. Wagoner 81, of Sebree, KY passed away on Sunday February 9th, 2025 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab in Henderson, KY. She attended Sebree General Baptist Church in Sebree, KY. She had worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Redbank’s in Henderson for several years. Shirley loved spending time with her entire family, she loved gardening, canning, reading and the Lord. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Garrett Tapp. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Wagoner and 2 sisters Ocie Mae Wilson and Viola Ware. Survivors include her son Dennis Eugene(Julie) Wagoner of Sebree, KY; 3 sisters Faye Ware of Sebree, KY; Deloris Lingerfelt and Mary Basham both of Henderson, KY; 2 brothers Arthur James Tapp and Gregory Neal Tapp both of Poole, KY; 2 grandchildren George(Lyndsey) Reynolds Jr. and Samantha(Jay) Duby; 9 great-grandchildren Cierra, Daniel, Alex, Layla, Preston, Trevor, Alyssa, Olivia and Zoey and several nieces and nephews. There will be no services held at the funeral home and a family graveside burial will take place at a later date. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY is handling the arrangements.
