Shannon Green

Shannon Green, 64, of Dixon, KY passed away Thursday February 17, 2022. She was active in sports at Webster County High School, where she was a member of the first girls basketball team her senior year 1974-75, cheerleader and participated in track and field where she was state runner-up in the shot put her senior year. She also loved playing women’s softball and co-ed softball. Past member of Dixon United Methodist Church and Covenant Community Church of Madisonville, KY. Survivors include her son Kyle (Sarah) Green of Dixon, KY; mother Alda Sellers of Dixon, KY; sister Lisa (Kelly) Watson of Morganfield, KY; niece Nicole Watson of Dixon, KY, great-nephew Duston Watson of Dixon, KY; four grandchildren Krisalyn, Caleb, Micah, and Wrenly Green all of Dixon, KY and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Monday February 21, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Pastor Michael Knight and Rev. Jeff Graham will offciate with burial at Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY. Visitation will be Sunday February 20, 2022 from 4-8pm and 8am till service time on Monday.
