Shannon Michelle Bright

Shannon Michelle Bright, 57, of Providence, KY passed away on Saturday October 18th, 2025 at River Bend Nursing and Rehab in Evansville, IN. Shannon was a homemaker and loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Bright, her mother Patricia Stowell Vance, 2 sons Shawn Michael Stipp and Darren Lewis Bright, and 2 grandchildren David Michael Bright and Olivia Andrews. Survivors include her father Herbert Vance of Chanute, KS; 5 daughters Deedra Phillippi of Chanute, KS, Samantha Horn of Lafayette, IN; Toni Bright of Chanute, KS; Britney Bright and Heather Bright both of Providence, KY; 2 sons Scott Bright of Clay, KY and Dusty Bright of Chanute, KS; 4 sisters Shawnda Edwards, Kelly Bright, Jamie Fulton and Heather Vance all of Chanute, KS; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild Kingston Hayes and several nieces and nephews.
