With hearts full of gratitude for a life overflowing with love and kindness, we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, Rev. Selby Creel Coomer, who peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home at the age of 88 on Good Friday, March 29th, 2024. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather, and a compassionate minister whose light touched countless lives. Selby was a beacon of warmth and empathy to all who knew him. His legacy of compassion, devotion, and unwavering faith will continue on in those fortunate to have known him.

Selby and Shirley resided in Graves County and attended First United Methodist Church in Mayfield, Ky. He also was a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911, where he was a past Master.

Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched and the memories he created.
