Sarah Lovell McClain, 75, of Evansville, IN died at home on July 17, 2012. She was a housewife and of the protestant faith. She was preceded in death by a son Dallas McClain in 2011, a great grandson Robert David Plemmons in 2006. Survivors include her husband Rev. Bobby McClain of Evansville, IN; one son Johney McClain of Evansville, IN; two daughters Darlene Hamilton and Sarah Briggeman both of Evansville, IN; one brother Carlisle Hoover of Dixon, KY and one sister Ruby Crick of Madisonville, KY; 14 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on July 20 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Raymond Abbott will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm and from 9am until service time on Friday at the funeral Home.
