Samuel Cotton

Samuel G. Cotton 72, of Dixon, KY died on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. He was retired from Maintenance at the Webster County Vocational School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He was the son of the late Samuel Luther and Charlene Cotton. He was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby and Ronnie Cotton. Survivors include his wife of 30 years Lena Villines Cotton of Dixon, KY; 1 daughter Jacki Nall McGregor and her husband Kerry of Princeton, KY; 1 step daughter Tammy Smith and her husband Tim of Dixon, KY; 2 step-sons Jimmy Capps of Sebree, KY and Tim Capps and his wife Crystal of Grand Rivers, KY; 2 sisters Jo Ann Terry and Janie Harper and her husband Richard both of Princeton, KY; 1 brother Johnny Cotton of Princeton, KY; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grand children, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Sept. 27 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Hank Cayce will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery in Hopkins County. Friends may call from 4-8pm on Friday and from 8am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
