Rose Thomas 74, of Dixon, KY passed away on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was a Pharmacy Tech at Walgreens in Hobart, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Thomas. Survivors include her 2 sons James E. “Jim” Oates of Dixon, KY and Mark Nichols of Savannah, GA; 1 stepson Randy Thomas of Michigan; 3 grandchildren Sherry Glassco of Dixon, KY; Lisa Rakestraw of Sebree, KY and Justin Oates of Dixon, KY; 3 great grandchildren Preston Glassco, Briana Rakestraw and Hunter Rakestraw. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday April 1, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Heath Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
