Roosevelt Fambrough

Ted R. Fambrough 81, of Henderson, KY passed away at his home surrounded by family on Monday November 15, 2021. Ted was born May 30, 1940 to the late Willie and Rosie Fambrough. Ted ran a local service station in the 60’s, worked in coal mines, was an over the road truck driver, adored his children, horses and racing motorcycles. Survivors include his wife Jenny, 2 sons, Darin (Melissa) of Henderson, KY and James (Cassie) of Newburg, IN.; stepson Jim Lewis of Mesa, AZ.; 3 grandchildren, Lauren and Chloe Fambrough, and Tyler Lewis; 1 brother Jack Fambrough of Sturgis, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Bill, Franklin and Houston; 3 sisters Margaret Fambrough, Janey  Mae Garrett and Willie Mae Sawyer. A memorial service will be held Friday November 19, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church, 2208 US HWY 60 E in Henderson, KY from 10am till service time at 11am. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY was in charge of arrangements.
