Ronald Chandler

Ronald T. “Ronnie” Chandler 60 of Poole, KY passed away at 10:13 AM August 18, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children in the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice at Methodist Hospital Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, Ky. He fought a short but long 18 month battle with Prostate and Bone cancer, but never gave up. He left behind his devoted wife of 39 years, Glenda (Simmons) Chandler, 4 daughters; Kim (Scott) Miller of Sebree, Ky., Jennifer (Joe) Gish, Rhonda Chandler and Ashley Chandler Wright all of Poole, Ky. 7 grandchildren he dearly loved; Paige and Jaxen Miller, Madison, Warren and Reagan Wright, and Callie and Cole Gish. 2 sisters; Linda Adkins of Henderson, Ky. and Angie Chandler of Morganfield, Ky. 1 brother Rick Chandler of Henderson, Ky; Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews; along with friends and devoted friend Glenn Cummings. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Dorothy Chandler of Poole, Ky., a brother-in-law Mike Adkins of Henderson, Ky. Special thanks to hospice unit at the hospital and nurses, Dr. Hussain and all the nurses and staff at his office, Amber Catlin N.P. and Sarah Hopper. Services will be 11 AM, Monday August 21, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky. Bro. Dean Esarey will officiate with burial at Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, Ky. Visitation will be from 2-8 Sunday August 20, 2017 at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers make donations to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 S.
