Reva Jean McGrew

Reva Jean McGrew 87, of Dixon, KY passed away at her home surrounded by family on Saturday November 29th, 2025. Reva was a lifelong member of Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She worked at Colin Todd’s Café in Dixon and the Webster County School System at Dixon Elementary. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she especially loved her weekly outings with her sister Jo Ann Wilson. Reva was a fun loving and kind person and was very active with the Dixon Lion’s Club Car Show that was held for many years in Dixon. She loved traveling with her late husband Don while he was Trucking across the country. She was the daughter of the late Finis and Deovdie Wilson Stone. Reva was preceded in death by her husband Don McGrew, a brother F.D. Stone and a step-son Larry McGrew. Survivors include her 3 daughters Durene(Arnold) Winstead of Dixon, KY; Tammie(Keith) Rice of Corydon, KY and Patricia(William) Marshall of Louisville, KY; her son Teddy(Jeannie) Bunton of Dixon, KY; a sister Jo Ann Wilson of Dixon, KY; 2 brothers Hershel Stone and Doris Stone both of Dixon, KY; 6 grandchildren Amie Hall, Laura McGrew, Brandon Winstead, Josh Bunton, Brittany Shelton and Haley Marshall; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 2nd, 2025 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Jody Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
