Nancy Carolyn Wabner

Nancy C. Wabner, 95, of Poole, Ky, passed away on Jan 4, 2024 at her home.  She was a graduate of the University of Louisville, returning to school later in life to get her degree.  She had a beautiful singing voice that she shared with all throughout her life.  Her love for music, animals and her family were evident to all who knew her.  She was a member of Adath B’nai Israel in Evansville and used her talents and knowledge of Jewish music and Hebrew to participate in religious services and youth education. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Mayer “Moose” Wabner and is survived by two daughters, Dr. Cindy Wabner of Poole, KY and Becky Davis (Brent) of Fort Worth, TX; one son, Eric Wabner of Poole,KY; one grandson, Charles Davis of St Louis, MO and one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Davis. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.  Rabbi Mazo will officiate the service.  Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY is handling the arrangements.
