Mary Jo Little, 70, of Dixon, KY died on Thursday December 29, 2011 at the Lucy King Smith Care Center in Henderson, KY. She was retired from Webster Co. School System where she was the Librarian for over 28 years. She was a very active member of the Dixon First Baptist Church in Dixon. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, the Foster Care Review Board, a KY Colonel and participated in the Webster Co. Relay for Life. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward H. and Georgia H. Wilkerson and a brother Edward “Eddie” Wilkerson Jr. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Arthur Junior Little of Dixon, KY; one son Travis Little of Dixon, KY; one sister Sara Sutton and her husband Tommy of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren Hunter, Page and Ben Little; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home on Sunday January 1, 2012 at 2pm. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon. Rev. Hank Cayce, Rev. Benny Phelps and Rev. Jarrod Leet will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4-8pm at the funeral home and from 9am until service time on Sunday.
