Martha Ann Snyder

Martha Ann Snyder 86, of Corydon, KY passed away on Thursday October 1st, 2026 at Morganfield Nursing and Rehab in Morganfield, KY. She was a homemaker and a Ministers wife alongside her husband Rev. Richard Snyder for 49 years serving several local churches including Tilden General Baptist, Mt. Lebanon General Baptist, Countryview General Baptist, Earlington General Baptist and Union Hill General Baptist Church. Martha was a member of Union Hill General Baptist Church in Little Dixie, KY. She worked at Carhartt for 10 years and loved serving the community during the Poole Harvest Daze and also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Richard Snyder, a son Bruce Snyder, 3 sisters Flora, Carol, and Trish, a brother Tommy, a honorary son Ricky Benningfield and a friend and companion Bob Wright. Survivors include her daughter Tanna(Randy) Leslie of Dixon, KY; a son Roy(Leanna) Snyder of Horse Branch, KY; 4 honorary sons William, Roy(Charlotte), Phil and Eddie Benningfield; 7 grandchildren Renae(Neal) Newton, Jeramy(Lacey) Leslie, Josh(Amy) Snyder, Megan(Anthony) Butkovich, Jordan Snyder, Jonathan(Rachael) Snyder, and Trista(Andy) Peyton; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 5th, 2026 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Earl Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.
