Duane Clark, 67, passed away on Saturday April 26th, 2025 in Dixon, KY, born on June 26th, 1957 in Henderson, KY, Duane grew up with a deep love for his community and the outdoors. He graduated from Webster County High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and formed lifelong friendships. He graduated from Madisonville Vocational Center as an Electrical Technician. Duane found great joy in simple pleasures and traditions. A man of the Baptist faith, he lived by values rooted in kindness and generosity. Every year, he planted a large garden, not just for himself, but to share its bounty with friends and neighbors. He was an active and supporting papaw listening to every story and encouraging every adventure. He had a natural feeling and deep connection with nature. His love for the outdoors extended to hunting and fishing activities he enjoyed teaching to others alongside gardening and cooking. A man of few words but profound wisdom. Whether listening to a ballgame or spending time outside, Duane embraced the moment fully. Family was at the heart of Duane’s life. He was the beloved son of the late C.B. and Melba Clark of Dixon, KY. He is survived by Kim Clark, and their daughter Megan Powell of Dixon, KY. Megan was his pride and joy, a bond that only deepened with the arrival of his cherished grandchildren, Avery and River Gray of Dixon, KY. Duane also shared a close relationship with his sister, Teresa Hibbs of Dixon, KY. Duane’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched with his generosity and warmth. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
