Margie Owens

Margie Corene Owens 87, of Dixon, KY passed away at home on Thursday March 26, 2015. She was a retired factory worker, and was of the pentecostal faith. She loved taking care of her cats. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jimmie Sue Floyd and Lottie Mae Owens. Survivors include 4 daughters Joyce Majors, Judy Peace and Janice Owens all of Dixon, KY; Cathy Sutton of Henderson, KY; 2 sons Shirley Owens of Dixon, KY and Roger Owens of Henderson, KY; 1 brother Billy Doris Holmes of Dixon, KY; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Donnie King will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY.
