Kenneth M. Duncan 89, of Dixon, KY passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was a Farmer and owner/operator of Duncan’s Grocery Store for 30 years in Tilden, KY. He also drove a School Bus for the Webster County School System for many years, and he hauled lime to many of the area farmers, and was a devout family man. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY. He was the son of the late Otis and Viola Cates Duncan. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Vivian Duncan and Dorothy Herron, 3 brothers Buford, Rudy “Junior” and Carroll “Mink” Duncan. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Joyce Moore Duncan of Dixon, KY; 1 daughter Kathleen Schriefer and her husband Fred of Phoenix, MD; 3 sons Randy Duncan and his wife Kim of Henderson, KY; Keith Duncan and his wife Chiquita of Henderson, KY and Greg Duncan and his wife Tonia of Dixon, KY; 1 sister Ruby Tapp of Sebree, KY and 1 brother Bob Duncan of Dixon, KY; 8 grandchildren Cristy Duncan, Beth Hazelwood, Cody Duncan, Chantz Duncan, Kaylee Duncan, Noah Duncan, Jennifer Kahalas and Valerie Gatzke; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday November 10, 2016 at New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY. Rev. Dwayne Wilson, Rev. Randy Duncan and Rev. Greg Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home and from 9am until service time at the church on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Larry Duncan, Ronnie Duncan, Ricky Tapp, Cody Duncan, Josh Hazelwood, Mark Duncan, Glenn Whitledge and Barry Whitledge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Duncan, Chantz Duncan, Jimmy Carroll Duncan, Tim Duncan and Leroy Mclean. Military Rites will be performed by Hopkins Co. Honor Guard at the cemetery.
