Kathy Lynn Jones 65, of Dixon, KY went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2026 in Morganfield, KY. Under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. Kathy was born in Evansville, IN. to the late George and Carol Smith. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats, her husband, time on the farm, fishing and being a member of Caring for Webster County Cancer Fighters. She was preceded in death by her parents, her baby brother Randy Smith and her mother and father-in-law Raymond and Anna Mae Jones. Kathy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Marvin Jones of Dixon, KY; 1 brother Scottie Smith of Evansville, IN; 1 daughter Candice Rodgers of Oregon; 2 sons Clint and Josh Gibson both of Madisonville, KY; 5 stepchildren Heather (Charles) Higdon of Leitchfield, KY., Jeff Jones of Dixon, KY., Jason (Shawnda) Jones of Madisonville., KY, Nathon Jones of Dawson Springs, KY. and Amber (Willie) Richardson of Leitchfield, KY.; 18 grandchildren Dalen (Kenzie) Gipson, Zander Wyatt, Hayli Gipson, Hunter Gipson, India Rodgers, Saberia Rodgers, Maddie Gipson, Isaac Gipson, Miya Gipson, Ashley Jennings, Jarriott Jennings, Kristina Jennings, Kayleigh Jones, Jacie Jones, McKenzie Jones, Mason Wittingham and Levi Richardson; 7 great grandchildren. Kathy’s family will have a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Townsend Funeral Home, Kathy Jones funeral fund.
