Joe W. Brown 72, of Clay, KY passed away at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY on Wednesday December 12, 2018. He had farmed his entire life. He was the son of the late Hershel and Mary Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Brown; 1 brother Floyd Brown and 1 sister Katherine Wells. Survivors include his son Jimmy Brown (Michelle) of Clay, KY; sister Brenda Finke of Missouri; 3 grandchildren Alexandra Harkins (Jeremy), Bailey Coe (Caleb), and Holley Edwards (Will Long); 3 great grandchildren Sydney and Ryder Harkins and Bristol Coe and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 2 pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Darren Pentecost will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
