Jimmy Wayne Hanor

Jimmy W. Hanor 85, of Dixon, KY passed away on Monday November 3, 2025 at the West KY Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. Jimmy was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He retired from GE in Madisonville after several years of service. Jimmy was a US Army Veteran, enjoyed fishing and loved building RC Airplanes. He was the son of the late George Carroll and Lucille Villines Hanor. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Hanor and a sister Carolyn Sue Dunbar. Survivors include his 3 daughters Cindy(Larry) Marsh of Dixon, KY; Tammy(Jim) Lewis Wittenbraker of Newburgh, IN and Sheri(Chris) Fields of Dixon, KY; a sister Sandra McKinley of Dixon, KY; 5 grandchildren Jeremiah Marsh, Whitney Scott, Joshua Lewis, Jacob Lewis and Cayden Fields; 2 step grandchildren Ryan Wittenbraker and Amanda Chase; 17 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 5th, 2025 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Tommy Townsend and Rev. Nick Duvall will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the graveside.
