Jimmie Ray Cromeans 87, of Dixon, KY passed away at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN on Sunday October 1^st, 2023. Jimmie loved working as a mechanic, he worked on farm equipment and old tractors, especially Case-International Tractors, after he had retired from Period Furniture in Henderson, KY and Whirlpool in Evansville, IN. He attended Christian Worship Center in Providence, KY. He was the son of the late Robert Henry and Pearlie Alice Hill Cromeans. He was preceded in death by a daughter in law Lesa Louise Cromeans, 1 brother Robert Cromeans and a twin sister Alice Faye Cromeans Daugherty. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Glenda Marks Cromeans of Dixon, KY; 3 daughters Mickey(Eddy) Love of Slaughters, KY; Sue(Mike) Beard of Cairo, KY; and Cathy(Harold) Wolf of Henderson, KY; 2 sons Herb(Ginjr) Caine Jr. of Evansville, IN; Terry Cromeans of Dixon, KY; 8 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 5^th, 2023 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Richard Sorrells will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm on Wednesday and from 8am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
