Jerry Hopper

Jerry Franklin Hopper 82, of Lisman, KY passed away at home on Saturday March 19, 2022. He was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon, KY. He loved gardening, his church and working with leatherworks. He worked for Townsend’s Grocery in Clay, KY for 50 years where he served as Assistant Manager for several years. He was preceded in death by his son John Franklin Hopper. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Marilyn Hopper of Lisman, KY; 1 daughter Aimee O’Brien of Lisman, KY; 3 grandchildren David O’Brien, Gabriel O’Brien and Mikey Price; 1 great grandson Johnny O’Brien and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 22nd, 2022 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister Gary Puryear will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be on Monday from 5pm-8pm and from 9am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
