Jerry Alan Bradley 86, of Poole, KY passed away on Saturday July 11th surrounded by his family at Redbank’s Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. Jerry was a member of the Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY. He worked for 37 ½ years for Whirlpool in Evansville, IN, retiring in 2000. Jerry loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and also loved helping his son Jeff in the Tobacco fields after his retirement. Jerry was a Master Mason 3rd degree and a member of the Poole Masonic Lodge #604 and Sebree-Onton Lodge # 538. He was proud to be a Veteran of the National Guard. Jerry was one of the founders of the Poole Harvest Daze and always enjoyed raising a big garden. He is the son of the late Vuis Elvin and Mary Elsie Moore Bradley. He was preceded in death by his wife Sue Bradley in 2016, 5 sisters Emma Sheeley, Mary Jo Womack, Ruth Gray, Dot Moseley and Myrtle Stover and a brother George Bradley. Survivors include his daughter Jana Spainhoward(Kelly) of Henderson, KY; son Jeff Bradley(Sally) of Robards, KY; 4 grandchildren Taylor(Cody) Willis, Addison(William) Kelley, Lauren Spainhoward and Kassie Mitchell(Austin Current); 2 great-grandsons Porter Kelley and Will Henry Kelley, several nieces and nephews, along with a host of close friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 15th, 2026 at 11AM at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Lester McHatton will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will from 3pm-8pm on Tuesday and from 8am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 6pm on Tuesday at the funeral home and American Legion Worsham Post #40 will conduct Military Rites at the graveside on Wednesday.
