Jeremi Dale Winstead

Jeremi Dale Winstead 50, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Saturday July 18th, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Jeremi was an Electrician and worked alongside his father and sister in the family business Kustom Electric located in Hanson, KY. He loved music, Jeremi started playing a guitar at the age of 13 with his dad and other family members, by the age of 15 he was playing in clubs and bars. He played in the band Whippin Post and Steppin Stone based out of Madisonville, KY and they became part of his family. Jeremi also enjoyed the outdoors and loved tree climbing and spending time with his son. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Marie Ruby Winstead, a sister Tony Winstead and a brother-in-law Harold Quinn. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Jessie Davis Winstead of Madisonville, KY; his son Logan Dale(Erica) Winstead of Madisonville, KY; his father Roger Dale Winstead of Madisonville, KY; 2 sisters Cindy Quinn and Jan Ipock both of Slaughters, KY; brother-in-law Tracy(Amanda) Davis of Madisonville, KY; a niece Haley(Jeremiah)Pryor of Slaughters, KY and a great nephew Jonas Lee Pryor of Slaughters, KY. Friends can visit from 1pm until 5pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Saturday July 25th, 2026. Private burial will be in Onton Cemetery at a later date.
