Jean Chandler

Jean Ann Reed Chandler 82, of Poole, KY died at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY on Tuesday March 26, 2013. She was a Homemaker and member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY. She was a longtime volunteer for St. Anthony’s Hospice and member of the Poole Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by a twin brother Jim Reed and another brother Frank Reed Jr. Survivors include her husband of 60 years John Chandler of Poole, KY; 2 daughters Debra Chandler Morin of Jamestown, NC; Paula Chandler Gray and her husband Larry of Poole, KY; 1 sister Marinetta Farris of Aiken, SC; 4 grandchildren LeeAnn Yarbrough, Rachel Beauchamp, Stephanie Hagedorn and Wendy Ackerman; 6 great grandchildren Chandler and Landon Yarbrough, Joey and Skyler Beauchamp, Jillian and Jordan Hagedorn; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon on Friday March 29, 2013 at 11AM. Rev. Dean Esarey will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-8pm at the funeral home and from 8am until service time on Friday. Pallbearers will be Stephen Reed, Donald Chandler, Mark Chandler, Capt. Scotty Yarbrough, Brian Hagedorn, Larry Ackerman and Doug Beauchamp.
