Janet Humphrey

Janet Pickens Humphrey 74, of Henderson, KY died at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN on Thursday August 20, 2015. She had worked at Methodist hospital for 38 years as a Staffing Coordinator. She was of the Baptist faith and was an avid reader. She is the daughter of the late Burl and Helen Pickens. Survivors include her husband of 53 years Bobby Humphrey of Henderson, KY;  2 daughters Stephanie Donahoo of Henderson, KY and Melissa Woods and her husband Toby of Indianapolis, IN; 2 granddaughters Jourdan Donahoo and Desirae Woods; extended family members-Darlene and Annie Bentley of Henderson and Jon-Jon Riden of Dixon, KY and her beloved grand dog Ashes. Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 23, 2015 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Tommy Townsend will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, KY. Visitation will be from 9am until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jon-Jon Riden, Toby Woods, Eddie Stone, Lane Bentley, Lance Duckworth, Stewart Downey and Mike Downey.
