James Holmes

James Lee Holmes 81, of Dixon, KY passed away on Friday March 5th, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was a farm hand for several years having worked for several farmers in Webster and Union County. He attended Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He was the son of the late Christy Lee Holmes and Evelyn Gibson. Survivors include 3 brothers Marvin Gibson of Dixon, KY; Leamon David “Red” Holmes of Dixon, KY and Parvin Gibson of Sebree, KY; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 9, 2021 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Jody Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
