James Henry Crowley Sr., 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Wednesday November 19th, 2025 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. James retired after 36 years of service at GE in Madisonville, KY. James was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He loved working on vehicles and woodworking. He also had a love for singing and playing guitar. He was the son of the late Milan and Marjorie Jean Poole Crowley. He was preceded in death by a grandson Blaze Crowley. Survivors include his 2 sons James H. Crowley Jr. of Sebree, KY and Tim(Cheryl) Crowley of Providence, KY; his companion Gloria Oliver of Madisonville, KY; 8 sisters Judy Drake of Central City, KY; Carolyn Yates of Poole, KY; Delores Drake of Lisman, KY; Alice Gary of Henderson, KY; Gloria McChesney of Madisonville, KY; Mary Sharp of Henderson, KY; Jennifer Hall of Princeton, KY and Priscilla Berberich of Henderson, KY; 2 brothers Ricky Crowley of Henderson, KY and Charles Crowley of Providence, KY; 4 grandchildren James Dakota(Crystal) Crowley, Danielle Crowley, Cody Decker and Damian Crowley; 2 great grandchildren Carson and Sadie Crowley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 24th, 2025 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Rick Oakley will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the graveside.
