Jackie Daugherty

Jackie Dale “Jack” Daugherty 54, of Dixon, KY died at home on Wednesday Sept. 28, 2011. He was a logger for several years. He attended Star Hope Gen. Baptist Church in Liberty. He was a member of the Dixon Masonic Lodge #911 and the UMWA #207 Asbestos Removers Union. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Daugherty in 1979 and his brother Donnie Daugherty in 1981 and his father John Gilbert Daugherty in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Beverly Daugherty of Dixon, KY; his mother Alice Faye Daugherty of Dixon, KY;  three brothers Wayne Daugherty of Providence, KY; Johnny Daugherty of Wheatcroft, KY and Rob Daugherty of Dixon, KY; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home on Saturday Oct. 1, 2011 at 2 PM. Rev. Danny Nelson and David Bumpus will officiate. Burial will be in Star Hope Cemetery in Webster Co. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Friday and from 8am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, KY 42420.
