Henry Lee Burton 84, of Nebo, KY formerly of Dixon, KY passed away on Sunday February 1st, 2026 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Henry was a Welder and retired from Hydro Conduit in Henderson, KY after 37 years of service. He loved dancing, hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed spending his time at the Webster County Senior Center in Dixon, KY. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War Era. He was a member of the Concord General Baptist Church in Manitou, KY. He was the son of the late J.R. and Wilma Riggs Burton. He was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Herron. Survivors include his wife of 56 years Rita Burton of Nebo, KY; his sons Jeremy(Tiffany) of Hanson, KY and Chris(Steffani) of Princeton, KY; 4 grandchildren Skyler Burton, Whitney Burton(Garrett Powell), Katelyn Burton(Connor Parshall), and Isabella “Boo” Burton and 4 nephews. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY at 11am on Friday February 6th, 2026. Rev. Barry Cullen will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Manitou, KY. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm on Thursday and from 8am until service time on Friday. Pallbearers will be Garrett Powell, Connor Parshall, Skyler Burton, Duane Herron and Gordon Herron. Honorary Pallbearer will be Alan Oakley. Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the graveside.
