Harry Francis Vaughn Sr. 74 of Clay, KY passed away on Sunday November 29, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. He retired after 42 years as a Police Officer, he also had worked in the Coal Mines. He attended First Baptist Church in Clay, KY. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Darla Tomlingson Vaughn of Clay, KY; 2 daughters Jayna Allen and her husband Stevan of Dixon, KY and Kara Graham of Clay, KY; 1 son Harry Vaughn Jr. of Henderson, KY and 1 step son Coy Vaughn of Poole, KY; 2 brothers Tommy Vaughn of Providence, KY and Richard Vaughn of Dixon, KY; 9 grandchildren Logan Nance, Leslie Gamblin, Brittany Nance, Cage Graham, Aubree Graham, Justin Vaughn, Kennedy Vaughn, Raven Vaughn and Morgan Vaughn; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Laddie Pride will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 1-8pm on Tuesday and from 9am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
