Glenda Faye Chandler 65, of Poole, KY passed away on Wednesday December 20^th, 2023 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. She was a member of the Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY. Glenda was a very loving, friendly and never met a stranger. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and Nana, and was devoted to her family. She was married to the love of her life Ronnie Chandler for 39 years, he preceded her in 2017. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, family was her life. She was the daughter of the late Faye Edward and Emaline Grisham Simmons. Survivors include her 4 daughters Kim Miller(Scott) of Sebree, KY; Jennifer Gish(Joseph) of Poole, KY; Rhonda Chandler of Poole, KY and Ashley Chandler Wright of Poole, KY; 5 sisters Susie Gish, Junie Collier, Janie Northcutt, Cindy Crook and Missy Simmons all of Henderson, KY; 1 brother Bruce Simmons Henderson, KY; 2 sister-in-law’s Linda Adkins and Judy Chandler both of Henderson, KY and a brother-in-law Rick Chandler of Henderson, KY; 7 grandchildren Paige Miller, Jaxen Miller, Madison Wright, Callie Gish, Warren Wright, Reagan Wright and Cole Gish and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 23^rd, 2023 at 10:00A.M. at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Chad Hensley will officiate. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm on Friday and from 8am until service time on Saturday.
