Geneva E. Rodgers

Geneva E. Key Rodgers 98, of Dixon, KY passed away on Tuesday August 11th, 2026 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. She was a seamstress and had worked at the Simmons Mattress Factory for several years. She was a member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Geneva loved crocheting and reading her Bible. She was an avid UK basketball fan, loved spending time with her family, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cleatis, her daughter Melinda Guzik, her grandson Sean Guzik, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was the daughter of the late Elbetrice and Gertrude Smith Key. Survivors include her son Christopher G.(Barbara) Rodgers of Omaha, NE; a sister Deloris June Alexander of Benton, KY; 2 grandsons Christopher G.(Renee) Rodgers II of Omaha, NE and Joseph M.(Anna) Rodgers of Omaha, NE; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 16th, 2026 at 1pm at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Bro. Jody Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time at the church on Sunday.
