Gene C. Quisenberry

Gene C. Quisenberry 95, of Providence, KY passed away on Thursday March 21st, 2024 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY. Gene was a member of the New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Clay, KY and attended Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence, KY. He loved fishing, watching Nascar and gardening, he was known at the Tomato Man. Gene also loved rabbit hunting and his Beagles. Gene worked all his life and ran heavy equipment well up into his 80’s. He enjoyed cooking breakfast on Sunday mornings. He was the son of the late Jake and Lila Bracket Quisenberry. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Quisenberry, a daughter Karen Smith, a sister Lois Quisenberry, 3 brothers Jake, Charles and Wes Quisenberry and a great-grandson Ashton Quisenberry. Survivors include his 3 daughters Kathy Connor of Corpus Christi, TX; Regena(Tommy) Walker of Nortonville, KY and Susan(Steven) Cassem of Bridgeport, IL; 1 step-daughter Tammi Lance of Henderson, KY; 2 sons Keith Quisenberry of Marion, KY and Jake Quisenberry of Santa Claus, IN; a brother Robert “Bob” Quisenberry of Beaver Dam, KY; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
