Frances S. Mooney 83, of Dixon, KY died at her residence on Thursday December 29, 2011. She retired from the Webster County Health Department after several years of service. She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon and a member of the Dixon Homemakers Club. She was the daughter of the late James O. and Ida Lucille Sigler. She was preceded in death her husband Claude Lemeul Mooney Jr.and by an infant daughter Mary Lou Mooney, one sister Jimmie Lou Watson and two brothers George Allen and Billy O. Sigler. She is survived by two sons Ronald Mooney and his wife Suzette and Doug Mooney both of Dixon, KY; one sister Mary Sigler Keutzer of Brandon Miss; one brother Jerry W. Sigler of Indianapolis, IN; one grandson Adam Mooney and his wife Dawn of Nashville, TN; one great grandson Patrick; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 2, 2012 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon. Dr. Bill Keutzer, Min. Bill Williams and Min. Rex Childs will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home and from 8am until service time on Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
