Eileen H. Miller

Eileen H. Miller 82, of Dixon, KY passed away at her home on Friday March 29^th, 2024. She attended Pennyrile Church of Christ in Madisonville, KY and Providence Church of Christ in Providence, KY. She volunteered with Sojourner’s and worked at children’s homes and youth camps across North America. Eileen enjoyed seamstress work, fishing, horseback riding, camping and cooking.  Eileen traveled with her husband Jim while he served in the US Army and while stationed in France, she gave birth to their first child Saundra. She was preceded in death by 1 brother Wayne Probst. Survivors include her husband of 63 years Jim Miller of Dixon, KY; 1 daughter Saundra K. Schwarzkopf of San Pedro, CA; 3 sons Scott Miller and Jason(Tammy) Miller both of Dixon, KY; and Jarad Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 4^th, 2024 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Minister Barry Webb and Ronnie Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Miller’s Hawk Hollow Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm on Wednesday and from 10am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
