Edith Whitfield

Edith M. Whitfield 71, of Providence, KY passed away at her home on Saturday June 2, 2018. She was a Christian, and was an Artist. She loved to ride horses, loved to drive her corvettes and and most of all loved painting. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Johnny Whitfield Sr. of Providence, KY; 2 sons Johnny “Chip” Whitfield and William Michael Whitfield both of Providence, KY; 1 brother Shelly Blanchard of Providence, KY; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Liberty Praise Chapel in Providence, KY on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 2PM. Pastor Nathan Bone will officiate. Friends may visit at the church from 12-2PM service time. The family has requested for casual dress attire while visiting with them at the church. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon is in charge of arrangements.
